Its really hard to give any credence to the evidence coming out of China that invaribably back up the State. For all we know every single witness speaking well of China's actions has one of his loved ones in the next room with a gun to their head. These kinds of actions are legal in China. In fact, there are countless tales of coercion, censorship, and intimidation on a large scale as par for the course in that nation.

What do you want the West to say? The methods routinely employed by China automatically undermine any trust we might otherwise have in defense of actions taken by their gov't. Try a free press and maybe you'll get the benefit of the doubt. Until then live with the suspicion and stop telling us to get the splinter out of our eyes.
