I know that Europe has a more brutal political cartoon style than the U.S., but I have to say that cartoon is over the top in its representation of the campaign and Senator Clinton. Jazz Shaw will be happy to know that I denounce it. Oh, and reject it, too.

Somehow I can't see us adopting “Obama fries” any more than “freedom fries,” short or long term.

We're too tired of Iraq to see French love of Obama as a fatal disqualification for the Presidency (which, given France's US-envying contemporary history, it ought to be). But it's still fuel for snickers. So predictable! Children in the US and the French love Obama, the anti-war anti-Bush! [snicker]

On the face of it, what France thinks may seem irrelevant, but on a deeper level, this has significance.

Even some Republicans are beginning to talk about repairing America''s immage abroad. An internationally popular president would be a major asset in that regard.

Hahahaha…France is for Obama…obviously he is doomed!!!

This guy's line is the best: “The country’s in flames she hears nothing, listens to nothing and hangs on beyond all reason!”

Hmmm…but isn't it France where the housing estates filled with Muslim immigrants who erupt in fiery rage every summer…with thousands of cars torched…and police afraid to show their faces?

I would have thought there is that number of Democrats in France alone…sipping their Beaujolais…and laughing at the hicks in Pennsylvania who are clinging to their guns, religion and anti-immigrant sentiments…all the while casting nervous glances over the rim of their wine glasses at the North African gents walking past….
