Then there is the long term: Obama lost two suburban Philadelphia counties that he probably should have won. He lost both white men and women, union members and non-college educated. He lost elderly voters and, yes, those “bitter” small-town residents.

You can't lose what you never had!

What you saw yesterday is a preview of what will occur if Obama runs against McSame in November, with one small & subtle difference in that it will not be occurring in one state but in all the confederate states, most of the Plain states and in the entire Rust Belt.

Clinton won the delegate total from PA by around 10. Otherwise your analysis is spot-on. There are deep divisions in the party. The best way to heal them may be to send out McCain's fliers to conservative Republicans to disaffected Democrats. That will remind folks of the stakes.
