GreenDreams- thanks for the link! I LOVED this entry- it shows she really got out there to meet the people to gain insight into the locals (this is the entire entry, which I copied and pasted):

Limerick, Ireland
9/5/98: Attends President Clinton's speech.
(Trip is with President Clinton)

That's all folks! :)

Politifact has a cool interactive map, if you are a glutton for punishment and want to see what Sen. Clinton did on each of her trips, check it out.

One comment that made me snicker suggested that, since Chelsea was usually along, she may be just as qualified if passport stamps confer that.

Point taken. I agree if she is arguing that such experiences give her an enhanced ability to formulate foreign policy. However, if she is also interacting with world leaders even in this scheduled manner, it is somewhat useful as experience... dealing with leaders. By and large, world leaders meet in exactly these ways. The only main thing they do in addition to photo-ops and such is periodically negotiate the 2 or 3 main issues at hand (and then leave details to people further down the chain). If Clinton can provide evidence that she's done some of the latter, that's better.

I'm just trying to draw the distinction between experience drawing up policy and experience working with foreign leaders. These sorts of experiences are partially helpful towards the latter, much less the former.
