ZOMG this must be the negative reporting I've heard so much about. When will those damn liberals get with the program so we can win this war.

Seriously, we need to get out of there ASAP. Both sides are using us and there is no end in sight. And shoddy reporting or not there are some major unmissable clues as to how things are going. Namely, its been 5 years and Baghdad, the capital, is without reliable water and electricity. Based on that alone, if I had no other information, we know that things are out of control there still. I say we get out and let them settle things with a bloodbath and deal with whoever is left.

I listen, also, when Mr. Rosen speaks. He predicted some time ago that a Sunni-Shiia war was invevitable. as soon as the US leaves. Personally, I think it may well happen even if the US doesn't leave.
The Sunnis boycotted the Damascus Arab conference.
AlMaliki's war in Basra isn't going well. There are even areports of large scale deserions and refusals to fight.
Al Sadr has called for massive anti-occupation marches.

And because of shoddy reporting, the public may never understabd what happened in Iraq.
