I can see it now:

2008: McCain
2012: Hillary
2016: Hillary
2020: Obama

Maybe Obama can do a stint as IL guv. in 2010 or 2014.

Can you imagine Hillary as NY guv and Obama as IL guv in 2010 and then they both re-enter the 2012 prez. race, not as senators, but as guvs with two years experience? Deja vu… That's a sure-fire method to keep the Repubs. in the WH….
