Actually Im a member of that 6 percent group that hopes the brokered convention yields Bill Richadson as the Nominee with Joe Biden as the VP.

You know what I learned from being a Biden fan, Pete? I learned that if you want someone elected, even if they have no chance, the only way you change anything is by actually supporting them – not just saying you do. It was and has been a big error in judgement on my part. I'm committed to getting involved earlier in races that I feel matter – even if the momentum isn't there when I decide who I want. I really have been thinking about that a lot. Do you know what I mean?

It's too bad the question was just “do you think X should drop out?” That seems to have equated to most respondents to simply, “who do you not like?” While that's sort of interesting, it doesn't explore the actual plausible issue that many have raised regarding Clinton's continuing candidacy, namely she has no chance of actually winning more pledged delegates unless Obama's campaign totally collapses. It would be nice to have had a poll exploring how powerful Dems find this argument. When people declare that the person leading the nomination race should drop out, they are clearly just saying “Obama boo!”
