What does being shot down (or not) and running from a plane on the tarmac under gunfire have to do with experience anyway? Unless she wants us to believe that she (recklessly) put her life at risk.

I've flown into some pretty tight spots globally - and without going into details about my personal experience, I'll note that under no condition would I have allowed my teenage daughter to accompany me in those situations, nor would I have wanted nationally known comedians or pop singers to take that chance unless they fully understood and were willing to accept the consequences (a la Bob Hope's troupes).

My own experiences, combined with Sinbad's "testimony" and this video, provide more than enough proof to me as a presidential job interviewer, that Sen. Clinton is most certainly padding her resume.

When Flying into Vietnam in 1970 our Boeing 707 did some pretty serious evasive manuevers and I felt as if we were literally falling out of the sky.

Why? Every now and then they take pot shots at the plane. Snipers. Rpgs.

When we landed in Da Nang. We strolled off the plane to awaiting buses that then drove us thru downtown Da Nang to the in processing center that was on hills overlooking the city of Da Nang. I bet I looked rather pale after the harrowing airplane ride to then be driven smack dab thru the middle of town guarded by one jeep with two bored looking Mp's.

The process was etched into my brain pretty powerfully. We were not shot at. There was a chance we could have been shot at. Looking back upon that time I could easily make a case that we were in a serious situation. So serious that the pilots took evasive action as SOP in order to insure that potential ground fire would not target a low and slow lumbering plane.

Now. Did Hillary Lie? It depends upon what she and her secret service and military entourage was told prior to the trip. Im sure Sheryl Crow and Sinbad were not briefed upon what might potentially happen. The secret service, military who were in charge of the welfare of the first lady of the United States most likely told her some things to impress upon her the seriousness of the area they were flying into.

Did she lie? Well the video seems to say yes, but I can assure you that most of what she was recounting was the truth and while on the surface it might seem to be an exaggeration, the reality is that she is more then likely recounting the impressions that the military and the secret service impressed upon her more then what was actually the case.

I have to go back to some of my times in Vietnam and try to recount them in exact detail. I remember a firefight. I talked to a friend who was with me in that fight. Our recollections of the event are miles apart. I wished I had a video to remind me of the honest facts.

There has been a lot of criticism of the use of a snippet from Wright's speech to characterize speeches in their totality. But that about Obama.

Now we have snippets of Hillary in Bosnia, and no doubts that they represent the tatality of her experience there. Oh, but his is Hillary, so that makes it different.

Denials that she played any significant role in Ireland were hailed as proof of Hillary's dupliciy. A statement to the contrary by the Irish PM garnered hardly a moment's attention.

This is just playing the same game over and over again. Embrace the headline; don't wait for the full story to unfold. Get your version out there; don't concern yourself if contrary evidence emerges later.

There is such shock when this game is played against people we like, but there is also such willingness to play the same game agaisnt people we dislike.

If Hillary lied, she will suffer the consequences.
If these snippets prove to be misleading, who will suffer the consequences?

I wasn't there. I don't know what happened in Bosnia. I sure as h--- won't base my judgment on more snippets.

It will take superdelegate movement to convince Hillary that she lost. Richardson's endorsement was a HUGE psychological blow to the Clinton campaign because of the implications that wavering superdelegates would need to end this thing and rally to Obama.

Elrod, I agree with you, Hill has no margin for error. But I think this will die down in a month's time.

As far as whether this is the end of HIllary... everyone keeps saying that Hillary needs a big win to stay in the race. Everyone asks what it will take for HIllary to win.

The correct question, in my mind, isn't, "What will it take for Hillary to win?" but rather the correct question to ask is, "What will it take to convince Hillary that she has lost?"

As long as Hill has a chance of receiving the nomination, and she still does have a chance because whoever gets the nomination will need the superdelegates, then Hillary has a chance. She doesn't need a convincing win in PA to stay in the race, she needs convincing losses in PA, IN and NC as well as the uncommitted superdelegates showing support of Obama in larger numbers.

A lot can happen, but she has no margin for error.

I've read claims that she was actually referring to visits to a MASH unit elsewhere, which would have resulted in some risk. But her explanation about canceling a welcoming ceremony and running from the plane is just a lie.

I'm sure Hillary found it perfectly harrowing that she had to fly into Bosnia in a C-17 (or whatever the model number is) plane instead of that horrible Air Force One plane that she was accustomed to.

I actually think the timing of the release of her First Lady papers isn't too bad- the PA primary is still a month away and a lot can happen between now and then. This won't be the end of Hillary.
