It's like Bush running again for President and saying that he has been President for eight years and therefore the most experience. Somehow that “experience” is supposed to equate to being able to handle the job and make good judgement calls.

If Hillary wants to count her 8 years of First Lady as experience, then let's see what all that great experience is. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of politicians conveniently hiding behind such tactics and saying (in effect), “Trust me- I know what's best for you and I don't need to provide you with any evidence. Just do as I say. I'm honest and clean.”

“We do not know how decisions were made to fill specific state positions, and we have no records of any individual recommendations we were asked to make or made,” says Obama spokesman Bill Burton “But we do know that Tony Rezko, among others, was helping to gather names for the positions coming open with a new administration, and, if it is established any names came through our office, we would have no reason to doubt it.”

So Obama…after 7 years in Chicago and the Ill Senate…has no idea how jobs were awarded in Illinois. Moreover, they don't know that Rezko cronies got jobs through Obama's office (how could they not know), but if someone proves it they won't deny it. But they will only admit it if someone catches them out.

Deception and equivocation.

The woman's mind is Nixon-like in its convoluted workings. If she had to walk in a straight line she'd fall over. When you get her tax records, you can submit them to Price Waterhouse, and maybe in a decade or so their forensics experts will have a conclusion.

Obama is simply not in Clinton's league in this regard. He is a straightforward Chicago pol … from a town and culture where pols are regularly sent to jail for straightforward honest corruption. Rezko did a lot of favours for Obama. The record is clear on that. The lingering question is: Why?

To be bipartisan: Neither is McCain in Clinton's league.

The Keating business badly damaged him. In contrast, no one has ever figured out the bizarro morass of Whitewater, after a $73 million investigation.

Give Clinton her due. She is in a class unto herself.
