Shaun- This picture captures the negative imagery about Hillary exactly the way hers did of him. Both are silly, but while the picture of Obama in white garb feeds the false fears that he's a Muslim or Muslim sympathizer, this feeds into the old imagery of Hillary as an evil, conniving witch. If you've ever watched Hardball an heard Chris Matthews talk about Sen Clinton's cackle, you'd get the picture. (I think the right wing has used this meme also on talk radio) So, I'd have to say touche to the Obama campaign, because they know how to give as good as they get!
Obama in the Oompa Loompa outfit, Hillary as witch, Kerry in the Bubble Boy suit, Dukakis with the tank, Bush waving to Stevie Wonder… This stuff is great! People need to loosen up a little.
true but the screeching and cackling references are still corrosive to a serious campaign, just as the Muslim garb is. It reinforces the impression of Hillary as a rhymes with witch, if you get my drift. Its too bad we live in a society where these pictures mean anything more than a good laugh, but we do.
I remember when I first saw this photo many years ago and chuckling at how Hillary had fired off an early shot of self-deprecating humor in definace of her detractors.
Hillary is a witch! Obama is all talk and no substance! John McCain is a straight talker!

“For Halloween 2009 I'm gonna dress up like President of the United States”
Caption: 'If they think my flying monkeys are the only superdelegates I have, think again! Hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!'
Heh. That's pretty funny.
Krit,
I'm pretty sure that most Americans don't believe in witchcraft.
“I'm MELLLLLTINNNNNNG!”

Can't we find one of McCain dressed as an illegal alien???
“Juan” McCain, as the critics say, with a sombrero — in a mariachi outfit. Priceless
