And if you look at your own lives, there are times when we think we have all bases covered..and something comes out of left base to hit us in the puss. This could be a case like this. Also, remember that the conventional wisdom has been wrong all year so if the new conventional wisdom is that this will help Obama, it then seems almost certain that it won't!
