Did he co-author the “Her lips said no but her eyes said yes” Act of 1961? Always good to get a reminder of the good ole days of the south now and again.
Notice that Democrats here in Tennessee are not necessarily enlightened. In any other state he'd be a Republican. On the flip side, there are plenty of genuine moderate Republicans here in East Tennessee that would be Democrats elsewhere. It's all because of the Civil War. Seriously.
