I might make Aliyah myself to fight for a fair division of the land, including Jerusalem. If Israel wants Peace - it must be done in a fair and equitable manner. Israel can continue to try to hog the land with it's settlements but eventually us jews will pay the price. Remember, we have lost Israel several times over the past few thousand years - it can happen again. <br><br>I desparately want Israel to be a safe haven and homeland for Jews but our greed for land will one day destroy that dream. Do you really expect that the 6 million of us who live in Israel will, in 100 years, be able to fend off 1 billion angry muslims in Israel's neighborhood? Given the disparate birthrates that is a distinct possiblity. <br><br>Israel's future can only be guaranteed by a JUST peace agreement with israel becomming the economic hub of the mideast. Our intelligence , educational system and commercial experience makes it a natural. If the surrounding Arab nations come to depend on Israel for their economic livelyhood peace will last and the mutual hatred will slowly dissapate. <br><br>While I will not claim too much expertise, I have been in Israel over 50 times in the last 41 years and know and have talked with hundreds of Israelis (Arab and Jew) as well as many Palestinians. <br><br>So Holly someday we may meet in Jerusalem, on opposite sides, but I certainly hope the death of either one of us is not the result.
