A False Election: John McCain, the Abortionist and Leftist “Neocon” »
The Dayton Daily News and one of the kindest journalists out there, Bill Hershey, is reporting that:
John Glenn, the former astronaut and four-term U.S. senator, is expected to endorse Sen. Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president on Tuesday.
Glenn, 86, the first American to orbit the earth and a long-time friend of both Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, is expected to announce his choice at a Columbus press conference, according to a source close to the Democrats.
Glenn’s expected endorsement comes as both Hilllary Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama begin focusing on Ohio’s March 4 primary in their battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
My inbox has been pummeled today with news, information, invites, pleas and other communications related to Hillary and Barack in Ohio. Ohio blogs are going bonkers making predictions about superdelegates, Ohio congressional districts, political blogs and everything and anything else that might have an influence on voters’ choices.
Folks. Get a grip. Calm down. Let us think. Listen to us, respond to us. But please, try not to overwhelm us so much. It will backfire.
Hattip to Holly who is undertaking a serious study project at the moment.
Far out!
LOL – I guess that's a very appropriate endorsement of Glenn's endorsement.
I was very disappointed to hear Senator Glenn who I have thought so much of over the years has endorsed Senator Clinton instead of Senator Obama. I am an independent
who has liberal social views but am fiscally conservative which I guess makes me a moderate. I am willing to take that
leap with someone who is looking for something better in politics for the American people. Something senator Glenn should remember is having a dream and working hard to making it happen is the American way. There is real hope out there for real
change in Washington and the American people (young, old, male/female and all races) want to make this happen.
The more we stay the course and stay safe with the status quo the more things
will stay the same. Although Senator Clinton and Senator Obama have similar
views on two issues I care about. I feel Senator Obama would have been the
better choice for unity of all Americans.
I wish he would have taken the leap at 86 and went for Obama.
That would have been Far out!!
To keep it short: The Ohio election may be the most important this year. It'll be either Ohio or Pennsylvania, I suspect.
