But once I'm up, it takes only moments to become excited about the possibilities, the dream fragment, the itchy thought pattern, the wish to work in the silence, as if one were alone, but as you say alone we are not. <br>Sometimes it is a pleasure, sometimes a compulsion, and sometimes it seems like the only time one can get certain tasks done. Thompson. Or George Carlin. Or anyone else that is forced to ride that fine line, between stream-of-consciousness writing and incomprehensible babble, that exists so prominently amongst those who sleep with the sun and rise with the stars.<br><br>And I wouldn't have it any other way.
