Check carefully what Clinton said in regards to the amendment offered by Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan before the vote on the authorization to use force in Iraq. Clinton suggested that by voting for the Levin amendment the United States would be relinquishing some of its sovereignty to the U.N. Not true, not even close. She did not read the 70 page Nat. Intelligence Estimate before she authorized the use of force. Why did she vote to authorize the invasion? To show how tough she is. Her eye has always been on the White House and she wants to appear as tough as any male. Twenty three senators voted against the use of force. She voted yes without reading the 70 page NIE. All who read it voted against the invasion.
