These tax cuts cost the federal coffers more than all defense spending combined (and please don't tell me it's our money. It's our kids' future we're spending). Oh, and add the Katrina costs too, as the Army has confirmed that "reallocation" of funds to the war effort decimated the funds for maintenance of the levees.
