He's going to brag about how effective his soldiers are in containing extremists and Al-queda? He doesn't even effectively control his own country. Maybe I just take such things for granted being a westerner unfamiliar with the nuances of modern Islamic tribal politcal structures, but seems to be you don't get to brag about how valiant your armed forces are when they are either unwilling or unable to carry the rule of the gov't to all areas within your own borders.<br><br>Taliban and Al-queda have apparently been operating in the NW of Pakistan with enough freedom to become a staging ground for the retaking of Afghanistan. And he wants a pat on the back? I understand him not wanting our soldiers to enter his country, but he could come up with a better excuse than that. Oh gimme a break.
