Folks, we still seem to be missing the point.

Mike is saying WHOEVER wins the Democratic Nomination, we should all rally behind the winner.

I am sure we are all yearning for a Democrat in the White House this time around...or is it a question of MY choice or nothing... Yes??

Who is likely to change American politics and make progressivism the dominant political ideology in America? Clinton or Obama? Clinton is qualified to be President, but she offers too much of the 1990s, triangulation, shadow boxing, secrecy and personality drama. Obama can take the country in a completely new direction. He can do for progressivism what Reagan did for conservatism. Hillary cannot do that, even if she is successful at the policy level. For that reason alone Obama deserves your vote.

Thanks, Michael. I feel your pain, more or less. I think with Hillary we get the same old politics that we've had the last couple of decades. It is how she learned to operate, the polarization is her world.

Brain-stem-level only is required to vote reflexively Democratic and defend illegitimate judicial activism. You don't even need vision. They can cast proxy votes for you and other such voters. Better yet, as they know what you (should) want, they can dispense with voting altogether.

Michael, well put and right on. Anyone who need s to be reminded why we need a Dem president in 2009 just keep repeating to yourself; the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court. One more conservative Repub appointee and the Court is lost to progressives for decades.
