I guess change in politics means that Iowa and New Hampshire decide who the next president is 378 days before his inaugural.
Of course, for all of the talk about change, Senator Obama's policy proposals and positions are standard machine Democratic boilerplate. He is a blank canvas that everyone seems to be projecting their own beliefs own.
I guess we can wait for 2016 when Karenna Gore, Andrew Cuomo and Chelsea Clinton are running for a platform of change.
A better cartoonist would have depicted the Obama and his wife, as the (new) Jetsons.

True — Chicago-style governance. However, there's no way that obsolete model will be fully implemented in Washington. That's why I'm nowhere as worried for this nation as I otherwise would be.
