JCBRap’s comments are over the top, but Bush engenders that type of response from a lot of people who he has alienated by governing to his base and refusing to work with the opposition party. Unlike Republicans who were able to create a consensus, Bush stubbornly has refused to budge, even when 70% of the country disagreed with him. He has invariably protected industry interests at the expense of the working classes and has corrupted the bureacracy with third-rate cronies. Still, I wouldn’t go as far as JCBrap.

JCBrap’s comments represent over 65% of the US population. God will have to decide Bush’s fate later on.

On earth, the majority of the US public agree that he has visited much misery across this country and the world – his overall impact has been extremely negative.

Please Mr Bush – just go away and spare us from your “insight” and “gut feelings”.

He will give speeches for big cash- he already stated on the record that he intends to” refill the coffers” in his post-presidency (not sure why anyone in the Bush family needs more money but as long as he leaves the WH, I’m happy!)

Hopefully he will just go away. Far, far away into the Texas brush that he has spent so much time clearing. Then, once he is done doing that, hopefully, he’ll go straight to hell where he will begin to understand the misery he has visited on this and other countries around the world.

As to the question what Bush will do after retirement, I’ve always thought he would find some role that aligns with his love of political campaigning. He has made repeated comments that he loves to campaign. I could see him doing some sort of fundraising or organizing role for the national Republican Party.
