   I wonder about the next Inauguration Day. In 2001, in Washington, DC, the Texans (naive as they were) were there in fur coats at the Italian restaurant my friend and I have enjoyed in the downtown area. (She sprinted away from the motorcade when it came down the street — to her, Bush was and is toxic waste.)

   I wonder if, next January (a year and a few days from now), the restaurants will be filled by many more party-goers, largely Barack Obama and former Howard Dean kids.
