I’m seeing him stuffed into the VP role (the nation’s principal domestic policy official, as opposed to having substantial foreign policy responsibilities as well) to get the Religious Right vote unless the GOP leadership believes it can once again take that vote for granted in an anti-Hillary election year, if instead they go with McCain and Giuliani (yuck, yuck).

Legendary indeed – legendary for his cynical, coldly calculated attacks. Sure, politics is a rough business and it should be as so much is at stake for the direction of OUR country. But what a legacy Rollins, Atwater and Rove are leaving – about as robust as the current Bush presidency.

I know so many good conservatives that believe strongly in key positions, it is too bad they are being led by politicians who continue to employ these negative, dishonest and deeply cynical consultants.
