Jimmy Carterism……….Turner eliminated over 800 operational positions in the CIA in what was called the Halloween Massacre.

No one thought Carter would shake up the CIA the way he suggested and even this blew everyones minds.

I dont trust a far left liberal to be anything other then a far left liberal when they set foot in the White House. You can say what you want. If Obama sets foot in the White House it will be with the idea that every president takes to the white house.

I don’t think a) he’d actually try much radical stuff, as normal Americans would be reviled and you could easily see another 1994; b) he would be able to get away with it given likely opposition in DC from more knowledgeable, sane persons; c) in interviews he doesn’t come across as advocating such things — for example, on an interview on the radio I heard this morning he said we we should not take all our troops out of Iraq immediately, as the place would fall apart, the neighboring nations would be flooded with refugees, etc. An idiotic immediate complete pullout is goal of radicals (and the ignorant).

I’d want someone more mainstream but he seems likely to engage in a more moderate policy than that implied by his prior record, if he made it into the White House.

P.S. Hillary Clinton has occupied the throne for eight years already, more so than her husband did at the same time, even.

Hillary is an extremely ambitious woman who desires to ascend to the throne. YET.

Show me one person running for president who is not AN EXTREMELY AMBITIOUS PERSON who desires to ascend to the throne.

Perhaps the most ambitious of them all would be one Senator Barack Obama with his 3 whopping years of experience in government and I swear hes spent 2 of those 3 years campaigning instead of governing.

He more then any person in the race scares the Bejesus out of me. I cant think of a more disasterous thing for America then to elect a totally unqualified SMILE to the White House during a time in which the world is disintergrating into chaos.

We need someone with a vision that is not steeped in the FAR LEFT Run, hide, apologize and pay off the rest foreign policy.

His message is popular but it is NOT doable, full of Jimmy Carterisms and doomed to bring about foreign policy failures of gigantic proportions.

So I hope that while I have nothing personal against Mr. Obama……In fact I hope he runs again in 8 years with much, much more Experience and expertise under his belt……I think this country will soon return to its sanity, realizing Bush is GONE and that we need someone in there who will right the ship and put us on a steady course with MODERATE policies.
