Jesus Has Answered Our Campaign 2008 Prayers

I was praying for a Christmas gift like no other this year. I really feel like our country needs some real direction that none of the current presidential candidates offer. I’m talking about a real, “You know you recognize me” beat down with a cell phone kind of direction.

I received that gift today when it was announced that former Atlanta Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney is running for president via the Green Party. You realize now that the war is over. Under Cindy, all government funds will be diverted to her personal obsession — the investigation of rapper Tupac’s assassination by the U.S. Government.

And yes, that cartoon by Daryl Cagle at MSNBC is wrong on many levels, but also funny and you know my sense of humor outranks my morals.

anyone who believes that the Green party will somehow replace the Republican party in the current two party system just needs to look at this announcement. Third parties end up recycling failures from the other two parties instead of developing their own candidates.

Maybe all of the whining about the current Presidential Primary season will end after the Republicans collapse and most people accept the idea that the Democratic primaries are the general election.

    McKinney — what a joke.

Green Party — children who laughably as well as wrongly call the Democrats “moderate,” “centrist,” or (better for laughs) “right of center” can always Go Green.

They’d actually be entertaining if we had a multi-party system, the Greens stole many of the nuttier farther-left Dems, and we had proportional representation. College campuses would vote Green year after year…

The only thing wrong with the cartoon is that it makes McKinney look better than she deserves to be seen.

  4. Well, it is Christmas, the season of fruitcake.

I guess it was too much to expect the nutcase to graciously leave the political scene when out of power. I am looking forward to when she fades into obscurity. I’m a Democrat, but pols like McKinney and William Jefferson are a national embarrassment.

bwahahahaha I knew this site would announce her candidacy.
