The government has started to require finger printing and background checks on blood bank workers. Does anyone think that the government will let anyone have a nuclear reactor?
For the record, I was joking; I wasn’t expressing hopeful feelings. Aside from Abdullah trying to order 100,000 reactors “on behalf of Hertz, to upgrade my rental car fleet,” think of the weight needed for the containment structure. (Notice I did not also say let’s go back to the days of dreaming of atomically powered aircraft.)
Just one more remark and I’ll return control back to the rest — did anyone (else) read about the guy who was working on his own reactor? (I have thought about what could be done if the heat from the source could be managed…hint: seven letters.)
