Back when Lieberman was selected as a Vice Presidential candidate, the media “discovered” and fell in love with religion. (This was before so many lib-Dems became worse-than-Euro-trashy toward Lieberman.) Once Obama gets seen at one or two traditional Democratic black churches, it’ll be considered a “plus” for Obama as well.

As long as the the government consumes 1/3 of the economy and can make or break anyone, then fighting over elections will be nasty.

Image what the future will be when new entitlements grow to the point that the government will be back to taxing people at 90%. It is either deal with nasty politics or deal with massive amounts of corruption to avoid the very heavy hand of the government.
