Makes about as much sense as impinging on the religous freedom because someone used religon as an excuse to kill people. Its a nation of 300 million, there are going to be screwballs that kill other people. Making laws that "protect" everyone just in case there is a nutjob hiding behind every tree is letting the overprotective soccer moms rule the country.
