I still believe that McCain will get the Repub. nomination. He's the steadiest and most widely-known Repub. candidate in the field. Once the Repubs. try all the other candidates on for size, I think they will go with who they know best (he's run for Prez before). Since security will always be an issue- regardless of what happens in Iran/Iraq. McCain has a worthy military background and is rightfully taking the high road against torture, which is another big issue. This will be his strength once more people start to realize that torture is not the way Americans should go.

As far as Hillary dropping and Obama gaining support- yeah! But there's still a long way to go. I think in the general election McCain would pose the greatest challenge to any of the Dem. candidates.

Please -- the Hillary-bashing, Obama-"coaching" commercials are getting more tiresome now than Shaun's repetitive Bush-and-situation-in-Iraq-bashing. Are you really that excited, before the first election? Do you realize that Romney has an artificial boost because southern New Hampshire, where the population is most heavily distributed, includes a lot of people who have moved there from Massachusetts? In case you didn't know that before, now you do.
