Ah, DLS is wrong again. What a shock. To claim that there's no such thing as CDS after incidents such as Gush claiming that the next day on his show he'd have a shocking revelation about the murder of Vincent Foster, the production and distribution of a video accusing Clinton of being involved in drug smuggling and murder being underwritten by that bastion of the right Jerry Falwell and the Arkansas Project is the height of dishonesty.

For CDS sufferers, Clinton is hated because of whom he is perceived to be. For BDS sufferers, Bush is hated because of what he has done to America and the world.

False statement, as well as falsely implied equality (with the non-existent "Clinton derangement"; disgust with Clinton, mainly rational, is enormously dwarfed by real, actual Bush hatred and true irrationality or derangement)

Time for a drink, or two, or three...

Maybe Shaun’s postings will become a drinking game.too.

Every time he's wrong or excessively repetitive? That's Cirrhosis City. Better just to have that parrot squawk. His material isn't the worst on here, anyway. (I let most of the worst on this site slip by without comment, as a rule; I try occasional remediation, but without successful results, sadly for those responsible).

Suprr D-

I've lived too long to put faith in perfection when human fallibility is involved/
Make rules, and human nature will ensure that some will find a way around them.

Then, too, your solutions ahve consequences of thieir own. People have a way of forgetting that, when they announce the miracle cure.

How about no one wanting a job on a parole board under your conditions, for starters?

domajot,

If the criminal justice system depends upon the professional judgement of those involved, then those individuals should be liable for very bad mistakes. If a parole, probation, or early release was politically motiviated, then those making the judgement should be held responsible just like physicians are responsible for their mistakes.

Let the parole/clemency board go out and buy liability insurance just like every Hazmat carrier in the country.

Also, let them established objective criteria that would demonsrated that they have meet their duty.

So, what is your solutiion?
Put everyone arrested away for life? Or kill them?
That is the only sure way of guarding against their potential for criminal behavior in the futuee

The left would have a better case for outrage if they would support probation and parole liability.

Why not make the government official who paroled a convicted criminal responsible for all of the harms that the parolee does. The government officials may take a more limited view of early release, parole, and probation if they knew they were responsbile for any potential harms.

And before you consider the idea ridiculous, you may want to know that government officials are already response for the harms created by the handling of hazardous materials. Why should the public works people have civil lawsuits while the criminal justice system be exempt from liablity for the actions and their judgement.

Blaming the Clintons or even Huckabee for the deaths of those people is absurd. Huckabee certainly made an error in judgement while under pressure but he did not bring about the deaths, but I cannot even understand how you could even come close to blaming Clinton for that one. So they had people on a parole board, those people felt the pressure of Huckabee in making their final decision. Blaming the Clintons for the deaths of those women is like blaming a Me for the war in Iraq neither of us even really had any connection to the event.
