    Obama could have prevented this had he taken the debate seriously. And the hand wringing might stop, but I bet a lot of voters are deciding to go with Mitt after this debate. They may not have time to watch all the debates. After all voters think domestic issues are most important, which is what last week’s debate focused on. Many people won’t bother to watch the foreign policy debate because they have little to no interest in the intricacies of foreign policy.

    Thanks, dduck. It will be interesting to see how many people watch the 2nd presidential debate. I could be totally off base. If fewer people watch the foreign policy debate than I’d be inclined to think my observation is correct. More or less.

    Everyone has an off day now then, and I mean everybody. Barack certainly had an inopportune day to have his but when he says, “I got this”, I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. You see, I grew up believing the white hats had a natural advantage. I’ve tempered that expectation over the years, but if I didn’t still believe in good eventually prevailing then I’d be living life as a hermit in the middle of a forest by now.
