Interesting trending, but Obama still holds the lead in the swing states. At some point in time, the nation is going to have to come to grips with that fact that only a handful of states is electing the President… and in those states, only a handful of informed swing voters.

For the most part…after all of the money and writing and tv and ads and and and… it is those people that tune in 3 weeks before the election that determine the leader of the free world.

Interesting trending, but Obama still holds the lead in the swing states.

I’ve been trying to get this point across in several threads but as it doesn’t fit into Sheldon Adelson’s bought and paid for talking points it is totally ignored… Why deal in facts when you’re being paid to ignore them.

Here’s the current polling results in the Battleground States from Real Clear Politics that this article seems to have missed.

We’re witnessing moderate voices (small case) selling out their principles for the almighty dollar. (both big and little bucks) Everyone it would seem has their price.

Well, those RCP averages are misleading due to the newly introduced pollsters like Gravis and WAA. While some pollsters lean one way or another, some of these new ones are blatant.

Romney has for sure gained ground in the battleground states, but not by as many points as RCP is averaging.

look at NC for instance… Ras, which leans a little right, had Romney at I think 4, but Gravis has him at +9. Just stupid. I look at those numbers and the other polls and see Romney at +2 or 3 right now.

People need to stop looking at just the averages and examine the individual polls in the battleground states.

Romney will probably take NC…they are just looking for a reason to vote Rep.

Shannon, the trend line isn’t looking good. Look at the 538 site: http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/

538 is also averaging in polls that no sane person would consider. I am sure that both campaigns internal polling are showing a trend towards Romney, but nothing like what some of the averages are showing.

You should research Gravis polling, a complete joke.

a bunch of serious polls just came out… now we can look at some real averaging.

It appears that Michigan, Penn and Ohio are still sticking with Obama. Virginia is all over the board, probably dead even right now. Florida looks even. Colorado even…Ras has Obama +1 which is odd.
