America’s Mayor Goes on the Defensive
That sound you hear is Rudy “I Gots Moral Character” Giuliani piddling on his wingtips.
The estimable Dick Polman, writing at American Debate, notes that Giuliani has used no fewer than six different defenses, five alone in recent days, in response to all the crap and corruption tied to him, including the latest revelation that he assigned an off-the-books security detail to protect Judith Nathan, his mistress and future third wife:
(1.) The Stonewall Defense.
(2.) The Denial Defense.
(3.) The Bill Clinton Defense.
(4.) The Security Threat Defense.
(5.) The Support the Troops Defense.
(6.) The Everybody Does It Defense.
