After reading this very informative recap; of Pakistan's recent history, hope actually seems more like a straw in the face of a coming storm. Defining religion as a personal path to God is a difficult proposition to promote. Separting personal faith from the drive to impose it on others, or political power, is doubly hard. Is there any substantial segment of Pakistani society that speaks to that goal? The hope referred to in the title seems very distant and iffy.
