It's a slap in the face to anyone decent and intelligent, as are denials that the media are obviously liberal.

* * *

Pew came out with a report on the GOP debates and has related information about views on such things as immigration. (This first block is not a direct quote but uses the correct numbers.)

Positions on providing amnesty to illegal immigrants, if they pass background checks, pay fines, and hold jobs:

Favor: GOP 47%, Dem 60%

Oppose: GOP 48%, Dem 35%

And here's the "stellar" GOP leader for 2009, Giuliani, from that report:

The first question of the debate was directed at former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani from a resident of Brooklyn. The questioner stated that New York City had operated as a "sanctuary city" during the mayor's term, and asked if as president he would "aid and abet the flight of illegal aliens into this country."

Giuliani defended his tenure as mayor, and disagreed that New York was a sanctuary city, laying blame at the federal level. "[T]he policies that we had were necessary because the federal policies weren't working," said Giuliani.

Exactly the point I made at another post. This was the Republican debates in which Republicans are addressing issues that are near and dear to Republicans.

CNN only further proved that they HATE Conservatives/Republicans. They proved they loathe and despise 45 percent of this country and are content with brushing aside the outcry as "LEGITIMATE NEWS COVERAGE"

At least Fox makes no pretense about its leanings. CNN continually attempts to portray themselves as totally trustworthy "The most trusted name in news"

Blah, Blah, Blah.

It was a slap in the face to conservatives and Republicans. Apologies only do one thing............make more money for CNN......They do not reflect the true beliefs of those at CNN.

It is a shame that even the news outlets can no longer be trusted.

The last bastion of trust in news organizations just went out the window for me and many Americans when you cannot even trust a NETWORK GIANT to simply google to find the truth. GAWD they are PAID to find the truth and it took GOOGLE and the INTERNET Bloggers to reveal the truth to CNN.

Agenda driven. Life in the 21st century.
