The media seems extremely intent on making something out of the current feud between Mitt Romney & Rudy Giuliani, as if its something more than the spats they’ve had since…well, every single day since they both entered the race. It seems a little forced, though. Or maybe I’m just surprised when the press covers anything the Republicans say or do that doesn’t include a mention of Hillary Clinton.

Who cares about them? Neither is going to be president. This shows how intellectually limited the media is. The most important story is whether the Democratic party will get 60 seats in the Senate. Yet, such stories looking at the campaigns in 10 or more states is boring to reporters. They find it easier and more exciting to cover cat fights.
Yes, news outlets are forcing a cat fight. They salivate in eager anticipations of the viewership (and profits) a nasty fight can engender.
The public falls for it, time and time again.
[yawning] They’re far too early to be starting to sow divisiveness among non-Democratic voters.
Let’s just see how the caucuses and primaries start placing the contestants, shall we?
