I second Idosycratic’s motion.

A littlle straight talk about Muchraff (and across athe toard, on all issues) is long overdue. There are adults out there who can handle complex scenarios, it given half a chance.
Couching everything in loFty terminology (like democracy) creates unwarranted expections. Then, no matter what is done or not done looks like duplicity.

back a few years there was something substantial the BDS administration could have done about the “loose nukes” . They screwed that up like so many other things.

I think W. would do everyone a great service if he simply came out and said “look, we’re worried as heck about loose nukes and we think that Musharraf is the best bet to contain them. Full stop. End of story.” The rest is, uh, bull……
