    Fun Fact:
If Mitt Romney worked full time at wal-mart, he would have to work 20 weeks to earn enough gross pay to pay up on a single $10,000 bet.

As much as I hate to defend Walmart, we truly do live in a global economy. I recently learned that Walmart is the largest Corporation in the US to have every one of their stores operate solely on wind and solar power provided by US manufacturers. Thats huge! They will not threaten the economy of India by their presence. Remember, they can offer all imported products to the people at a much lower cost. The volume they deal in is insane. I still buy from as many local businesses as possible, but when I need 30 rolls of paper towels and 6 cases of soda..I go to Walmart.
