From my corner of Appalachia (East TN) to yours, and to God’s ears. Appalachian folk are not happy with Republicanism these days, and are less likely than in 2004 to let culture war issues trump bread and butter concerns about the economy.
Dear Elrod, can you expand a bit on your take on Appalachia? aand maybe point us to a good site about the situation in Appalachia nowadays? I think lot of people think only in terms of wpa photos from the 1930s. thank you.
