Doma- I watched a few cable shows last week, and you are absolutely right. The Clintons statements were parsed and analyzed then attacked from every angle. Ms. Clinton’s answer to the drivers license question from the last Democratic debate, was seen hopefully by most pundits as revealing a flaw that would be fatal to her campaign, and Bill’s defense was portrayed as proof that he was becoming an enormous drawback to his wife’s chances.

Giuliani’s relationship with the indicted Kerik, and what it portends for his ability to choose presidential appointees, hardly got any airtime at all -

-so much for the liberal-leaning, biased MSM!

I think it’ll will blow over without doing Giuliani any harm.
The Clintons defending each other is treated like a much more unforgiveable crime in the meida dnd blogosphere.
What’s a little crime, when a politician does the unforgiveable and acts like a normal person.

Anyone else notice that Giuliani hired Michael Mukasey’s son to keep the Kerik problem from infecting Giuli’s campaign? Now that’s a smart move! With Michael Mukasey confirmed as AG, the charges against Kerik might just languish until Giuliani becomes prez. Then he can pardon him or commute his sentence.

Kerik is much more than a “mistake.” As Giuliani’s partner in their post-9/11 consulting firm, he helped make America’s Mayor a multi-millionaire who was too busy with those activities to attend meetings of the Iraq Study Group. They were joined at the hip and, in coming days, Kerik is going to become Giuliani’s albatross:

Shame that Mayor Bloomberg had the foresight to quietly change the signs on the Bernard B. Kerik Complex back to the former Manhattan Detention Complex moniker that was in place before an end-of-term Mayor Giuliani bestowed the naming rights honor on the then-esteemed Police Commissioner Kerik.

The irony of Bernie potentially being locked up in his eponymous complex is simply too much for this mere mortal commenter to bear.
