		<description>I don&#039;t for one second question that Tibbets did the right thing.

His story does lead me to wonder, though.
The military attitude of &#039;do the job, don&#039;t question it&#039;&#039;
is evaluated by the results, at  the end pf the history writing day.  One can&#039;t take personal  responsibility totally out of the equation.
Tibbets seems to have reflected on the orders and decided they were correct.  Wih so much riding on the character of the individuals involved,, I shudder to think what could happen if the one receiving such orders were not the reflective, questioning type.
 
The line between &#039;do the (right) job&#039; and &#039;do the (wrong) job&#039;  seems so perilously thin.
It&#039;s awe inspiring to think about it.</description>
