Anyone who thinks that the 2008 eleciton is going to be close needs to put down the crack pipe. The Democratic candidates starts out knowing that they are going to win every state that Kerry won in 2004. If the Democrats put all of their effort into winning Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, Florida, and New Mexico, the Republicans lose in a rout. If the Republicans have to spend a single dollar in Virginia or Arizona, then you know that the Republican candidate for President has no chance.

The only real question in 2008 is whether the Democratic Party gets 60 seats in the Senate or if they have to wait until 2010.

Not one of the leading candidates in either party has a favorable rating above 51 percent in the new poll.

There are too many choices for anyone to like any of the leading candidates. Even if you take the time to research the candidates, many voters find themselves better aligned with Duncan Hunter and Mike Gravel than any of the leading candidates.
