Twitter Goes Wild After Eastwood Speech

Clint Eastwood took the stage at the RNC on August 30 and gave a short, rambling talk to an empty chair. The not-in-Miami crowd went wild. I don’t think this is what he meant by that closing “Make my day” refrain. See the story at Storify if the embed isn’t working!

    Pretty funny reaction from the web… people will be Eastwooding for the next week at least.

    This is what you get when one party tries to copy the other. MSNBC is a copy of FoxNews and Fox is so much better at what they do.
    Dems elect a black guy. Reps elect a black guy as RNC Pres.
    Dems have celbs… Reps go get crazy old guy.

    the copy catting is not effective and both sides need to stop.

    and btw….
    having yet another old white guy on stage was a seriously missed opportunity for the RNC. They should have moved a woman into that slot…Condi Rice would have been perfect, but I think they are still a little Bush-shy… I know I am.
