Barack Obama's problems with homosexuals is the first data point in what politics will be like with only one dominant political party. In the past, the Democratic Party had to tolerate the homophobia, the bigotry, and the politically incorrect comments of black politicians and community leaders. The Democratic Party tolerated it because they need black voters to go to the polls and voter at an over 90% rate.

Now, as the Republican Party fads into irrelevancy, the Democratic Party can begin to impose political correctness onto groups such as blacks and Hispanics that it could not in the past. Since black and Hispanic voters have no where else to go in politics, they will have to adjust to the new pecking order that puts gays above blacks.

If Obama or his staff invited the singer, then it's a problem. If local organizers invited the singer, no problem.

I'm just really tired of these daily non-scandals.
When Obama announces he is changing his poicies because of someone who is around him, I'll pay attention. Until then, ho-hum.
