The Kurds-Turkey relationship is more complecated than news coverage and recent developments reveal.

I Turkey were smart, it would soften its fear of Kuris' self identifying as Kurds and do more to bring economic development to the region of Turkey where they live. The happier Kurds are with living in Turkey, the less appeal, and support, the PKK would have.
