I can see why Russia wouldn't like a US missile defense system in Europe, and I think Putin's belligerent statements from Iran are part of the reaction. In the meantime, though, Russia's missiles could be a threat to all of Europe. I think the states that broke away from the USSR feel the threat especially sharply. The USSR, would love to control them once again and reminds them of it regularly I wonder if Russia's antagonism isn't partially based on thinking that the proposed defense system might be a way to check the threat Russia poses to others in the region. The attack on Estoniia's internet system was ominous. This is a strange situation.

Its fine as long as he sticks to countries without ICBM's that in reality can't do much to hurt us, but Russia, yikes. I pray that he treads water on this until we get another president in office.
