What did they avoid talking about at the Republican convention?

Maybe that’s worth worrying about. Maybe that’s a measure of what a Romney/Ryan White House would bring us.

Let’s take a look at the New York Times word-count chart and see what got fifty mentions or fewer — in other words, which the losers were…

Tax, 48

American dream, 36

Debt, 34

Unemployment, 33

Spending, 28

Change, 28

Opportunity, 27

Hope, 24

Regulation, 24

Fail, 22

Obamacare, 15

Immigration, 15

Fiscal, 14

Free enterprise, 13

Values, 13

War, 12

Health care, 11

Energy, 11

Medicare, 10

Common sense, 8

Red tape, 7

Limited government, 5

Middle class, 4

Make ends meet, 2

Ryan and economy were slightly over 50. Top mentions went to Romney, work, and business.

They also forgot to mention how the Republican Party is making a well orchestrated and deliberate effort to keep voters who normally tend to vote for Democrats away from the polls and therefore, safely disenfranchised.

Take heart in this link concerning the decision of a judge concerning the Voter ID laws in Texas!
