I'd leave it as is, Freespirit, if it is alright with you. I suppose there are lots of underlying motives why people say/do whatever in comments; I saw a comment on another post at TMV just yesterday that literally is at least five pages long.

If you want me to delete it I will, but I understood
your 'comment' as a prayer. All other things aside, it
did not dominate or skew. With me, today, it is alright.

Dr. e, please can you delete the poem as I don't appear to be able to delete it myself.
It would appear that I am still that small child towards the back of the class, vying for the teacher's attention. Forgive me, it was crass and inappropriate.

Dr e.
thank you for continuing to bring our attention back to Burma, thank you for showing us the beauty that lies buried within the rich culture that Than Shwe wishes to destroy. Here is a poem which came about because of your posts.

Than Shwe

To the little brothers
who are gone,
sleep now
your work is done
and,
as a consequence
of your belief,
in right and truth and love and peace,
may the world
awaken,
to renew your vows
and deliver Burma
from this evil pestilence
of
greed and hate and violence.
On your return,
may your people rise up
to live a life
of love and abundance,
other,
that is,
Than Shwe.
