TMV Editor’s Note

People often ask about how this weblog is done and why, on certain days, I don’t post more. While all of us on TMV approach our posts as if this is our full-time endeavor, we all have some other things to juggle as well.

For instance, if you’re a blogger waiting for a link sent to yours-truly to appear as a post or in my next Around The Sphere, there is a delay. This is due to the fact that I’m now on a trip that, by the time it ends tomorrow, will have involved some 2000 miles of driving and 10 shows in three days (other days for driving). The shows include anti-drug shows at Central and Northern California schools in my other incarnation and shows at the Vacaville Harvest Days Festival (LOVE those older pictures!). I leave the hotel in two hours and start a long drive back — and will likely do Around The Sphere from a Starbucks to catch up.

You’ve seen some new names at TMV and will likely see a few more as the months go on. And our features will increase. But this is a special note to those who were expecting their emailed links to be used or their posts to be linked to that they did today that we do appreciate your efforts and will highlight them on TMV (just as we appreciate being linked). But there are “logistical” problems (like being ejected from a hotel at 11 a.m. check-out time and driving long distances with no Starbucks). On my end, I’ll do one post before I leave on my trip and Around The Sphere later in the day (to use all your good links).
