That doesn’t mean there can’t be many side conversations, but the ongoing Balkanization of interest groups in the blogosphere ultimately does a disservice to the greater whole.

Alas, The Moderate Voice is the rare exception.

I don’t see that the need for feminists to be part of the ‘broader conversation’ is any different that the need for Afro-Amerocans or Hispanics to do the same. It’s a special interest group like any other.
